Congratulations Ladies! You made it – Your hard work on the field is beginning to pay off!

We have been accepted to participate in the prestigious/premier level “Discovery Cup” Tournament October 10-12th. With this honor to be in a premier level tournament, comes the responsibility of playing against high level competition from all over the East Coast.

As we are preparing for our final years of club soccer and in our planning to participate in college showcase tournaments in the upcoming years, we welcome the opportunity to play against some of the top teams in our region. Just take a look at the acceptance list below, you will see that you will be playing against some of the best teams on the East Coast.

One of the selection criteria that college showcase tournaments organizers look at when selecting a team for a college showcase is how well the team showed against a tough opponent. A close loss against a high level team goes a long way and at times it scores better than a win over a weaker team. I truly believe that in order to be the best soccer player that you can be, you need to play against the best.

You know that it won’t be easy, and it’s going to take a lot of heart, passion, determination, drive, energy, and willpower. I believe that you girls have what it takes to do all of that. If you give 100 percent, work hard, be smart, and leave it all on the field – you will get us the results we desire. You have showed us over and over again that you ladies played your best soccer against the higher level teams, and stepped up your level of play to the level of competition. Just to remind you of a few recent tough games that you showed well in; the game against Ashburn last month – you showed a lot of heart playing against a very good team that had 2 National level players on its roster, the game against the talented Potomac team at the State cup tournament last spring, and the game against the New York state cup finalist at the Arlington Tournament last March. So here is another opportunity to play hard and show everyone what you are made of.

If you put your effort and concentration into playing to your potential, to be the best that you can be, I don’t care what the scoreboard says at the end of the game, in my book you are winners!
